🔍 Filter 1: 1-Micron Sediment Filter

Captures rust, dirt, sand, and silt, removes particles down to 1 micron, nominal rating filters ~85–90% of 1-micron particles, improves water clarity and protects downstream filters, helps prevent damage to appliances and pipes

🔍 Filter 2: 20-Micron Radial GAC Filter

Contains Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) for broad chemical reduction, radial design allows high flow and greater contact time, filters particles down to 20 microns, improves taste and smell of water

Removes or reduces:

Chlorine & Chloramine

VOCs, pesticides, herbicides, Disinfection byproducts (THMs, HAAs), Microplastics (≥20 microns), Long-chain PFAS (e.g., PFOA, PFOS), Some heavy metals (lead, copper, mercury)

🔍 Filter 3: Ultra-D Sub-Micron Filter

Filters particles smaller than 1 micron (typically 0.1 µm), removes >99.99% of:

Viruses (e.g., rotavirus, norovirus), Bacteria (e.g., E. coli, Legionella) Cysts (e.g., Giardia, Cryptosporidium)

Also reduces:

Lead, arsenic V, iron, cadmium, chromium, selenium, mercury PCBs, BPA, VOCs, residual pharmaceuticals, Chlorine, bromine, iodine, Biofouling precursors (proteins, acids, polysaccharides)

Recommended replacement: every 12 months
