A licensed plumber connects the system to your main water line where it enters your home. The system is wall-mounted and typically takes about 2 hours to install. All necessary fittings are included.
For town/city water, choose the Absolute (with fluoride removal) or Optimal (with pathogen protection). For tank/rainwater, choose the Natural or Defender UV systems which are designed to handle sediment, bacteria, and organic compounds common in tank water.
Up to 95% of Fluoride can be removed when the UltraStream is installed with an additional Fluoride Pre-filter.
Filter replacement frequency depends on your water quality and usage. Typically, sediment filters are replaced every 6-12 months, while carbon and specialty filters last 12 months. We’ll provide a recommended schedule with your system.
Our systems are designed for minimal pressure drop. The large blue housings and high-flow filters ensure you maintain excellent water pressure throughout your home.
The Absolute Fluoride system is specifically designed to remove fluoride along with a comprehensive range of other contaminants. The other systems focus on different filtration priorities.
For homes with hard water, we recommend adding magnetic water conditioners to treat calcium, magnesium, and sodium build-up, protecting your pipes and appliances.
