Phthalates are used in plastics to increase flexibility. They are in almost every plastic we use, including food packaging, medical equipment and cosmetics. They have short biological half-lives, metabolise quickly, do not accumulate, and are primarily excreted in urine. Studies showing toxicity in animals have been at very large doses. There is very limited evidence of any effect in humans.

Water filter great. I gave my shower filter to my son who works on a mine site as he said water they showered in was so awful. Dirty smelt of chlorine etc. After attaching the filter he had amazing results. The water was clear and all the smell of chlorine gone. I then had to order myself a new one. That is when I got the bad service from the company. Not happy. My son has recommended the filter to quite a few other people on the mine site. Maybe buy it from another source.
