Calcium Scale Filter

Designed to fit any standard 10-inch filter housing, this cartridge uses food-grade polyphosphate crystals to help reduce the formation of limescale on taps, kettles, coffee machines, hot-water systems, and filter components.

How it works

• Polyphosphate does not remove calcium or magnesium, instead, it binds and stabilizes the minerals in solution. This prevents them from crystallising and sticking to:

  • Heating elements

  • Filter housings

  • PEM electrodes

  • Hydrogen-generating components (UltraStream)

  • Taps, kettles, and coffee machines

This makes it ideal as a protective pre-filter, not a softener.

Replacement guidance

• Typical replacement: every 6 months

• Hard water / high usage: every 3–4 months

• Replace sooner if scale reappears
