The Filtration
The Higen 2+ uses a two-stage filtration system. The 1st filter includes a sediment layer to catch large particles, calcium sulfite ceramic to remove up to 99% of chlorine, chloramines, and heavy metals, and an antimicrobial planar filter that helps prevent bacteria, fungi, and algae growth. The 2nd filter uses activated carbon to remove chlorine byproducts, VOCs, pesticides, industrial chemicals, bad tastes, odours, and some heavy metals. Long-lasting filter – provides up to 3,000L or around 12 months of use.
