My wife never recovered. She had some sort of waterborne bug that Australian doctors could not cure. How could they? It didn't have a name! She suffered from wind, bloating and IBS for the rest of her life.

Forty years later it is still the thing I remember most from all of my world travels. Are things better now? Well, India has cable TV and fast internet.. but the water is still deadly.

Maintenance & Storage		DO NOT… Place the bottle in the freezer. (When water freezes it expands and could damage the bottle and/or filter); DO NOT fill with HOT water, or anything other than WATER; DO NOT run the bottle through the dishwasher. When the filter system will not be used for an extended period, flush chlorinated water through the filter and allow to dry thoroughly with top cap removed. Reassemble and stow.
